CF&S completes tunnel boring shipment

CF&S Estonia has transported a tunnel boring machine from Paldiski South Harbour to Tashkent, Uzbekistan to support the extension of the city’s metro line.

CF&S said that it had to overcome unfavourable weather conditions and an extremely tight time schedule to successfully complete the project.

Using its own 80 ft (24.4 m) railway platforms, the machine was moved by rail from the Esteve terminal directly to its final destination.
