DSV has widened its footprint in the Middle East by opening an office in Muscat, Oman.
Country manager for DSV in Oman, Qatar and Kuwait, Charles Francis, said: “Oman has distinct advantages as a transhipment hub for Qatar. [The country] has become a pivotal geographical location for cargo flows to and from Qatar. Unlike some of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, Oman has not introduced economic sanctions against Qatar and its trade with [the country] has increased by more than three times since the embargo began two years ago.”
