Foss celebrates 125 years

June 2 - Marine transportation and harbour services company Foss Maritime, which is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year, has recently grown its business in Alaska and the Arctic, and says that three arctic tugs currently under construction are int

 Founded in Tacoma, Washington by Thea Foss in 1889, the Seattle-based company offers a wide range of services to an international customer base and operates over 130 vessels.

Paul Stevens, president and ceo of Foss, said that the future looks bright for the company. "We are looking forward to the next 125 years with both enthusiasm and excitement."
