Freight Traders supports power plant project

Freight Traders has discharged a 130-tonne heat exchanger and three pre-heaters for a power plant project in New Zealand.

The scope of work included the part charter, load supervision, stevedoring, marshalling, storage arrangement, Customs clearance, quarantine inspection and partial delivery to the project site.

The heat exchanger measured 21.5 m x 3.8 m x 3.8 m. The pre-heaters measured 20.5 m x 2.7 m x 2.8 m and weighed 90 tonnes each.

Freight Traders, member of the XLProjects network in New Zealand, was also responsible for the discharge of containers and general cargo.
