LOC Renewables launches

June 5 - The LOC Group has launched LOC Renewables, a specialised division to bring the group's broad capabilities to the offshore renewable energy sector.

LOC Renewables, led by Dr R V Ahilan, group director of renewables advisory and energy technology, will have offices in London, Exeter, Aberdeen, Paris, New York, Singapore and Shanghai, providing consultancy services including design, engineering and marine warranty surveying to offshore renewable energy clients.

Andrew Squire, group chief executive, said: "With our increasing expertise in the sector, we have chosen to formalise our commitment to offshore renewable energy."
