Alexander Global Logistics, in cooperation with C.H. Robinson and ILG Logistics, has transported 24 mining dump trucks, each weighing 300 tons (272 tonnes), from various locations in Europe and the Americas.

Measuring approximately 15 m x 9 m x 10 m each, the dump trucks were delivered to Panama.

Alexander Global, C.H. Robinson and ILG Logistics were responsible for the pre-carriages of the dismantled units using ro-ro, breakbulk and container carriers. The companies were also responsible for arranging a 10,000 sq m assembly area in Panama.

The trucks were subsequently loaded onto a time-chartered barge for transport to the end customer’s private port in Punta Rincon.

Alexander Global, C.H. Robinson and ILG Logistics are members of the Project Logistics Alliance (PLA), representing Germany, the USA and Panama.
