ALS handles tank delivery for Thames Tideway

Abnormal Load Services (ALS) has transported eight silo tanks for the Thames Tideway project in the UK.

ALS also stored two of the tanks for one month to coincide with the delivery of the remaining six units to the Tideway site.

“Liaising closely with the client and Thames Tideway, ALS adhered to very tight delivery restrictions, coordinating the stringent collection and delivery sequencing to minimise crane hire costs,” said ALS.

The Thames Tideway project will see the construction of a 25 km underground tunnel, up to 66 m deep, which will help expand London's sewerage system.
