Abnormal Load Services (ALS) has coordinated the transport of a dismantled PC4000 mining excavator from Europe to the USA.

ALS’ operations team in Moerdijk, the Netherlands, arranged the loading of the 300-tonne Komatsu excavator. The machine was transported in 17 pieces.

The cargo was loaded on to a barge in Germany for onward transportation to Belgium, where it was shipped to the USA using a ro-ro vessel from Wallenius Wilhelmsen Ocean (WW Ocean), ALS’ sister company.
