Megalift is handling imports for the construction of a 1,200 MW gas-fired combined-cycle power plant in Port Klang, Malaysia.
Megalift has been appointed as the official project logistics service provider in Malaysia. The project is expected to be completed in 2024.
The first shipments consisted of heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs) measuring 31.9 m long, 4.53 m wide and 3.19 tall. Each HRSG weighed 165 tonnes.
The generators were shipped to Malaysia using both container and breakbulk vessels.
Megalift is a member of the Project Cargo Network (PCN).
