March 4 - VN Navegacion in Bilbao, Spain, has been named exclusive chartering broker for Briese Coasters, of Leer, Germany.
Briese Coasters operates a fleet of box shaped/open hatch coaster vessels up to 8000 dwt - ideal for project cargoes moving along the Atlantic coast from Scandinavia to North Africa, and through the Mediterranean to the Black Sea and the Levant.
The two companies have already established a strong trading relationship. In 2012, VN Navegacion organised approximately 50 voyages with Briese that included various project cargoes throughout Europe and the Mediterranean.
