October 31 - The first section of a new hydrocracker system has been delivered to the ExxonMobil refinery in Botlek at the Port of Rotterdam.

The vacuum fractional distillation column, which measures 50 m high by 9 m wide, will form part of ExxonMobil's USD1 billion hydrocracker development that is being built to strengthen the company's position within the European refining sector.

The new system is expected to become operational in late 2018, according to the Port of Rotterdam.
