September 30 - Maximus Air Cargo, the UAE's largest all-cargo airline, has successfully completed the relief flights which it gifted to the Red Crescent Authority's (RCA) recent telethon.

The airline's Ilyushin-76TD undertook three mercy flights on behalf of the Red Crescent carrying urgent relief goods to assist those who have been struck by unprecedented flooding in Pakistan. The three gifted flights were dispatched to Peshawar and Quetta. The aircraft carried vital disaster relief materials such as tents, blankets and drinking supplies.

The RCA Telethon has raised over AED 85 (USD 300 million) in donations to help Pakistan recover.

Commenting on the successful completion of the relief flights, Fathi Buhazza, president and CEO of Maximus Air Cargoand founder of Care by Air said: "We are pleased that as the UAE's largest all air cargo airline, we could contribute with our nation to helping those in need in Pakistan.
