OT Africa Line Takes Opera To West Africa

January 22 - OT Africa Line, in co-operation with its German agent Ernst Gl

The consignment is part of the Festspielhaus Afrika project by German artist Christoph Schlingensief.

Schlingensief intends to build Remdoogo (meaning "opera village" in the local language), containing a school for up to 500 children, to offer music and film classes as a specialty, with an infirmary, a large-scale kitchen, a rehearsal stage, a central archive, a hotel and a large auditorium for 500 spectators.
