July 22 - Associated British Ports (ABP) has invested GBP4.5 million (USD7 million) in the reconstruction of Town Quay at the UK's Port of Lowestoft.

Following its collapse in 2012, the quay has been made stronger, deeper and suitable for a variety of uses, particularly for the support of the offshore wind and renewable energy industry.

The official reopening of the Lowestoft quay was marked by the return of Royal Australian Navy tall ship, Young Endeavour, to the UK port in which it was built.
