ALE expands with Conbit

July 21 - ALE has acquired the Netherlands-based Conbit, an offshore lifting and structural engineering company.

Conbit, which will become part of the ALE group, provides structural engineering, heavy lifting services and equipment for installation and maintenance jobs in a range of industries, including onshore and offshore oil and gas, offshore wind, decommissioning, and petrochemicals.

"By acquiring the Conbit group we are able to strengthen our overall service offering to our clients and provide everything from offshore floatover services to alternative lifting solutions," says ALE.
