BDP ISO accredited for environmental management in 10 Asia Pacific countries

June 24 - 33 offices of global forwarder BDP International (BDP) in ten Asia Pacific countries have received the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certification 14001:2004 in recognition of its environmental management systems.

With the award of this accreditation, BDP Asia Pacific has achieved ISO certification in three areas - Occupational Health and Safety (18001:2007), Quality (9001:2008) and the Environment (14001: 2004). BDP is one of the world's leading privately held freight logistics/transportation management firms.

Managing director of BDP Asia Pacific, Michael Andaloro, said: "BDP International is a multinational company with a commitment to being a good global citizen. Customers and the community are increasingly environmentally aware and value organisations that take their environmental obligations seriously."
