October 28 - At the end of October, after 47 years of service for Bremen-based IPSEN LOGISTICS, Helmut Behrmann is retiring from his role as head of the company's Africa division.

Having developed the company's Maghreb business from its beginnings in 1978, Behrmann's (pictured below) retirement marks the end of an era for IPSEN with his tasks now being integrated into a new company structure.

Arndt Sonntag, trade lane manager Africa, will be responsible for sea freight in Africa; projects worldwide will be handled in the newly established projects department, headed by Henrique Wohltmann; customer service for German customers in Algeria is now the responsibility of Christian Ditsch, key account manager in Algiers; Henri Laskowski remains responsible for business development in the Maghreb.
