Berard transfers Pegasus

September 2 - Berard Transportation recently assisted with the launch of the 2,920-tonne offshore supply vessel Pegasus.

Initially, Pegasus was moved from its fabrication site to a bulkhead. The supply vessel was then loaded onto a deck barge, which was moved to a dry dock where it was secured and ballasted to begin the final phase of transferring.

The Berard team then slowly rolled Pegasus onto the dry dock and into position for final launching, using 96 axle lines of self-propelled modular transporters (SPMT) equipped with five power packs.
