CLdN has chartered additional ro-ro vessels to increase sailings between Europe and Ireland.

One of the vessels – Cadena 3 – joined the roster during March, as HLPFI reported here. It will be accompanied by a second chartered vessel to increase the number of sailings on CLdN’s Zeebrugge-Rotterdam-Dublin routes from eight to ten.

According to CLdN, they have been chartered to expand its services in preparation for the delivery of its newbuilds in the fourth quarter of 2021.

The Cadena 3 is currently undergoing technical repairs and the most recently chartered vessel is being repositioned from the Mediterranean. The sailings will be introduced provisionally from the week commencing May 17.
