Collett completes Clocaenog deliveries

UK-based Collett & Sons has delivered 270 out-of-gauge wind turbine components to the Clocaenog Forest wind farm in North Wales.

Collett has been travelling the 70-mile (112.7-km) route from Ellesmere Port to the Welsh jobsite over the course of the past six months, hauling some 12,420 tonnes of cargo in total.

Construction is well under way at the wind farm – a project that has been developed by Innogy Renewable and features 27 Vestas V105 wind turbines with a combined output of 96 MW.
