China’s COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers has opened an office in Thailand.
COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers officially opened the office on August 17, accompanied by an opening ceremony during the Mekong River Region Marketing Conference.
The opening of the office, the company said, “marks a significant milestone in our journey”.
Last month, HLPFI readers will recall, COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers formed a joint venture with Guangzhou Salvage. The entity will control a fleet of what will be 18 semi-submersible vessels.
Commercial management of the fleet will be handled by the joint venture and COSCO Shipping Heavy Transport exclusively, with offices located in Guangzhou, Houston, and Rotterdam.
