DHL assists wax production

April 9 - DHL Industrial Projects has transported a 344.5-tonne wax reactor from South Korea to Richards Bay in South Africa.

The reactor is destined for the Fisher Tropsch Sasol Wax Expansion Project in Sasolburg, where it will produce Sasol wax. Construction of the first phase of the project began in 2012, and the second phase is now underway.

From Richards Bay, the reactor will be transferred onto a trailer, which will bring the total weight of the load to 499 tonnes and length to 78 m, before being transported by road to the Sasol One Site in Sasolburg via Pongola and Piet Retief in southern Mpumalanga.
