May 3 - Fairstar Heavy Transport has been awarded a contract by ENSCO to transport the ENSCO 105 jack-up drilling rig from Malta to Singapore.
The rig will be floated onto Fairstar's semi-submersible, heavy transport vessel Fjord in Malta's Grand Harbour and will immediately depart for Singapore via the Cape of Good Hope.
Fairstar says that the total value of the contract is USD 3.8 million.
