May 29 - Reports in the international media state China's Jiangsu Hongqiang Marine Heavy Industry has signed a deal with an unspecified German company for four 12,500 dwt multipurpose heavy lift vessels.
Production is scheduled to start in the second half of 2013 with a delivery dates pencilled in for the first half of 2015. Each vessel will cost USD18.5 million.
