GAC Group rides the waves with yacht shipping specialist

February 1 - The GAC Group is set to make waves in 2011 with the creation of Team GAC Pindar, a world-class sailing team that will both compete in international events and also provide specialist logistics solutions to the yachting community.

The first challenge Team GAC Pindar will face is the extreme sailing series 2011, which will see Pindar compete in as many as 282 races.

The series sets sail in Oman this month and will continue throughout the year at venues in China, Turkey, USA, UK, Italy, France, Spain and Singapore.

Team GAC Pindar is skippered by Ian Williams, a double ISAF world match racing champion.
