April 16 - Germany's Hartmann Group has launched its first Europe to West Africa conventional and container liner service.
The new service will operate under the trade name Hartmann Project Lines.
Three 17,500 dwt multipurpose ships will be redeployed from the Pacific onto the route. The first sailing from Antwerp will commence on April 19, 2013.
The Europe to West Africa service will be run by Marine Transport + Logistik of Duisburg (MTL).
