Lights out for Evergreen

January 7 - USA based provider of air freight and transportation services, Evergreen International Airlines, has sought bankruptcy protection from the US Bankruptcy Court.

The development comes two weeks since creditors asked a court to force the Wilmington, Delaware airline to pay off outstanding debts, according to reports in the international business media.
 
Evergreen International Airlines was unavailable for comment at time of writing.
