January 23 - Japan's Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding has delivered the 72,800 dwt general cargo vessel Siskin Arrow to Panamanian shipping line, Misuga.

The vessel has an overall length of 210 m, a moulded breadth of 36 m and a depth of 20.2 m. The new open hatch, jib crane general cargo carrier is one of the largest in the world, says Mitsui.

Siskin Arrow has eight box-shaped cargo holds and comes equipped with four jib cranes. It will primarily be used for the transportation of forest products.
