January 9 - Project Cargo Network (PCN) member PrimoCargo has handled shipments to Sohar in Oman whilst members Delta Maritime and Steder Group Logistics have arranged a transhipment in Piraeus, Greece.

German PCN member PrimoCargo has handled its sixth consignment as part of its shipments to Sohar in Oman for MAN Diesel & Turbo Schweiz. Part of the ongoing project involves cargo being delivered from Antwerp.

According to Axel Kaufmann, senior sales manager at PrimoCargo, the next lot of shipments to Sohar will take place in February.

Meanwhile, Delta Maritime (PCN member in Greece and Serbia) and Steder Group Logistics (member in Romania), arranged the transhipment of a stainless steel tank (14 tonnes/8.69 m x 3.26 m x 4.36 m), stainless steel degassing tower (3.2 tonnes/2.96 m x 2.81 m x 4.00 m) and steel frame (1.25 tonnes/6.75 m x 3.43 m x 0.50 m) in Piraeus Port, Greece.

Delta Maritime handled the loading of the cargo at the shipper's premises. The entire shipment was then loaded onto a Grimaldi ro-ro vessel.
