NMA moves four liftboats from the US to West Africa

November 16 - COSCOL's semi-submersible vessel Kang Skang Kou successfully transported four Hercules Offshore liftboats from Freeport, Texas to Lagos, Nigeria.

NMA Maritime & Offshore Contractors (as the exclusive worldwide manager for COSCOL's fleet of semi-submersible vessels) was responsible for the commercial and engineering activities related to this transport.

The largest of the liftboats weighed 1,975 tonnes with three legs each 70 metres long and each was carried by a specially designed wooden support structure.

The liftboats were discharged via the float-off method in the port of Lagos.
