November 2 - US based heavy transport provider Omega Morgan has begun offering crane services to customers in the Pacific Northwest.

Omega Morgan's new crane fleet includes a 500-tonne capacity crane, a 400-tonne capacity model and two 250-tonne capacity cranes, as well as smaller 55-tonne capacity cranes and boom trucks. Through its partnership with Sarens, the company also has access to over 1,500 additional cranes.

"Customers have been asking us for some time to handle all of their lifting and rigging needs and address their desire to have a single point of accountability for the entire scope of their project," explained Greg Tansey, president and ceo of Omega Morgan.

"It was the next natural step for Omega Morgan; by being a one-stop shop for our customers, we are able to alleviate concerns and make adjustments on the fly should schedules or projects change. We also have the ability to rapidly scale for longer-term projects through our global partnership."

Omega Morgan's crane services division will comprise 30 employees, with all of its crane operators certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO).

Omega Morgan specialises in heavy-duty rigging, transport and machinery moving.
