Shantanu Bhadkamkar elected IFCBA MD

June 5 - Shantanu Bhadkamkar, chairman of Federation of Freight Forwarders' Associations in India (FFFAI), has been elected as managing director of International Federation of Customs Brokers Association (IFCBA).

Acknowledging the importance of India in the present global economy, the next meeting of the IFCBA will be held in India, which will allow members of FFFAI to interact with the members of IFCBA and IFCBA members to share their experience as CHAs/Customs brokers in their country as well as explain the activities of the body.

The IFCBA has been representing the interests of the world's Customs brokers and their clients since 1990. It works to bring about improvement in Customs policies and practices on a global basis. These improvements benefit both members and their clients.
