June 3 - Saudia Cargo - the air freight division of Saudi Arabian flag carrier Saudia - has added two B747-400 freighters to its fleet of charter aircraft.

Saudia Cargo's latest additions will form part of its 15-strong fleet made up of four MD-11s, two B747-8Fs, seven B747-400Fs and two B747-200 freighters. Of these aircraft, 12 will be used on Saudia Cargo's scheduled services to 27 destinations. Three B747 freighters will by deployed on charter operations.
 
"The combination of our scheduled and charter activities enables us to offer our clients smart, cost-effective solutions via our three hubs in Saudi Arabia," commented Steven Peter Scholten, vice president commercial at Saudia Cargo.
