Trains are no strain for Allfort

October 28 - Allfort Co Inc, a member of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) in Japan, has successfully delivered 10 train carriages from Kawasaki in Japan to Manila in the Philippines.

The total weight of the complete shipment was 34 tonnes and Allfort arranged both inland transportation to Kawasaki Port and chartered a NYK-Hinode vessel for the ocean leg to the Philippines.

The trains were lifted directly from rail onto special heavy haulage trailers for delivery to the vessel in Kawasaki, which required a custom-sized spreader for the lifting operations.

The WWPC is a leading global franchise network for project cargo forwarders with country/area exclusivity.
