June 11 - transport logistic 2013 conference and exhibition, hosted at the Munich Trade Fair Centre from June 4-7, 2013 attracted a record 53,000 visitors - up 3.3 percent over the 2011 event.

According to Messe Munchen International, the event organiser, transport logistic 2013 was the world's biggest trade fair for logistics, mobility, IT and supply chain management. 2,013 exhibitors from 63 countries used the event to exhibit their products and services, and to network with old, new and potential clients.

Dr. Peter Ramsauer, Germany's minister of transport, championed the value of the event: "This is a global gathering, because logistics is the flywheel of the economy, not just in Germany. This trade show has proven to be a real engine for growth."

Commenting on the high quality of the visitors, Christian Marnetté, director of sales and marketing at Kühne + Nagel, said: "The 2013 edition of this transport exhibition in Munich has again delivered many new leads. And our highly valued existing customers also met up with us here in this excellent atmosphere.

"Once more the Munich exhibition center has done a superb job of bringing together trade visitors and exhibitors in a well organised show. In short: transport logistic is a real 'must' in terms of its coverage of both sides of the market."

The next transport logistic takes place from May 5-8, 2015.
