Wagenborg has placed an order for six EasyMax 2 vessels.

Wagenborg said that its latest newbuilding order reflects its long-term commitment to fleet renewal, energy efficiency and sustainable shipping.

Building upon the EasyMax concept – first introduced in 2017 – each newbuild EasyMax 2 vessel is designed to significantly reduce CO₂ emissions and fuel consumption, contributing to Wagenborg’s sustainability goals and the broader energy transition in shipping. The vessels will be equipped with advanced energy-saving technologies and optimised for low-emission operations, aligning with international environmental standards.

The first EasyMax 2 vessel is expected to be delivered in early 2027.
