September 14 - On the Baltic Sea, the German port of Wismar has debuted a Liebherr mobile harbour crane with a lift capacity of 104 tonnes.

The crane will help the port accommodate the increased volumes of project cargoes as well as shipments generated by Kenersys, a wind power plant manufacturer which will be moving turbine casings weigh 91 tonnes each through the port. 

A pontoon was used to transport the crane ready for use after it was built at Liebherr's factory in Rostock.

The LHM 400 is designed for four-rope crane operation and is capable of hoisting a total weight of 100.4 tons under its hook.
