February 10 - Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics (WWL), which has made no secret of its desire to increase its presence in the movement of heavy and OOG cargoes, has been granted recognition as a Partner-level supplier in the John Deere Achieving Excellence P
Partner-level status is Deere & Company's highest supplier rating and WWL says it was selected in recognition of its dedication to providing "products and service of outstanding quality".
WWL, which will accept the recognition during formal ceremonies to be held on March 1, in Davenport, Iowa, is a supplier of ocean transportation and logistics services to John Deere's operations globally, engaged in the movement and logistics management for John Deere's finished goods across six continents.
Suppliers which participate in Deere & Company's Achieving Excellence program are evaluated annually in several key performance categories, including quality, cost management, delivery, technical support and wavelength, which is a measure of responsiveness.
