December 19 - Luxembourg-headquartered Logwin has opened a new office in southern Chinese city, Shantou; its fourth in China this year.

The new office will link the economic centres around Shenzhen and Hong Kong with Xiamen.

Logwin also noted that the new office will generate stronger ties with the Taiwanese market; feeder ships regularly run between Xiamen and Shantou - an important point for transhipment trade with Taiwan, and home to a large number of industrial enterprises.

Logwin now operates nine locations in China's southern coastal region and 29 branches across the country.
