October 16 - RZ Carrier and Rickmers-Line, both companies within the Zeaborn Group, have successfully undergone the certification process for their integrated management system for quality, health and safety, and environment (QHSE) according to the latest
The certificates will be released for RZ Carrier including Rickmers-Line with the scope of "management of worldwide liner shipping specialised in breakbulk, project shipments and heavy lifts," says Rickmers.
Rickmers claims it is amongst the few shipping companies in the multipurpose sector to have its quality and environmental management systems certified according to the newest 2015 standards.
"Following the takeover by Zeaborn in April it was a logical step to bring forward the re-certification by one year and to include RZ Carrier, which in our new business structure acts as the carrier company also for the liner services of Rickmers-Line," explained Hans-Friedrich Illner, director corporate development at Rickmers-Line.
The process of certification of RZ Carrier and Rickmers-Line's integrated management system for QHSE are according to the latest standards of ISO 9001:2015 for the quality and process-management, OHSAS 18001:2007 for the health and safety management system, and ISO 14001:2015 for the environmental management system.
