Bollore Logistics sets sail

May 27 - French Industrial and transport organisation, the Bollore Group has created the Bollore Logistics brand to assist the group's commercial brands in their development.

According to a company statement, Bollore Logistics - part of the Transport and Logistics Division of the Bollore Group - will continue to capitalise on segmenting its product offering into highly targetted business sectors such as industrial projects and oilfields.

Under Bollore Logistics, the existing brands will be retained as a means of appealing to all types of business whilst attracting a diverse range of customers.

According to the statement, Bollore Logistics operates an ongoing policy for innovation and has a long-term investment policy including a well established partnership policy with key airlines and shipping lines.

Bollore Logistics is actively developing its brands internationally and intends to invest in Egypt and Australia with a company in the mining area. In the USA, an interest in an American company specialising in east-west freight transport is also desired.

Bollore Logistics includes SDV, SAGA, nord-sud, SDV-OPE abd SOGETRA Transport International.
